Joint Trade Shows
Joint Trade Shows
FEMAC from its constitution and thanks to the program support of COPCA first and ACC10 afterwards, always carried out joint participation in international fairs. But since 2010, there is no longer a program of support for Catalan companies for this kind of actions.
However, the Cluster and its associated companies, are still interested in the management of joint participation in international fairs, which allows them to achieve economies of scale in procurement costs of space, marketing services, and the products transportation to the fair.
For this year, it has been proposed to manage a joint participation at World AG EXPO (USA) and at Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato, Mexico, form 11th tp 15th November,2018.
TRADE SHOWS 2019
WORLD AG EXPO is the largest annual outdoor agricultural exposition featuring 1,450 exhibitors and more than 100,000 attendees each year. Each year it is held at the International Agri-Center in Tulare, California, in the United States starting on the second Tuesday of February. It has officially been designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce as an affiliate of the Foreign Buyer Program, which encourages exportation of American made goods. Prior to its 2001 rename, the event was titled “California Farm Equipment Show and International Exposition.”
The show started in 1968 and was attended by 28,000 people. It outgrew its original home and moved to its current permanent location, the International Agri-Center, in 1982 where it occupies 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space – this excludes roads and parking.
Expo Agroalimentària Guanajuato It is an event developed in Irapuato, Guanajuato since 1996. It is the most important agricultural fair in the country, and among the first in South America at the level of exhibitors and visitors. It has a total area of 630,000 square meters, and receives around 120,000 visitors every year with 1,300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries. FEMAC will participate with a 600-meter stand.
