Enric Pedros, Cluster Manager at FEMAC participated once more in the third and most important conference in Robotics Industry takes place in Europe. This edition organized in Milan, Italy, was focused among other topics in  healthcare & well-being, automotive, drones & AGV’s, education, energy, farming, play & learning, production, remote handling, and waste management.

Enric presented in the session “Precision Farming “, the last developments in Robotics whithin the Cluster FEMAC , and could share experiences with other key speakers like Mr. Benno Pichlmaier, Head of Research, Advanced Engineering and IP Management, in AGCO / Fendt or Mr. Gennaro Monacelli, Head of Innovation, Design Analysis and Validation Methods, of CHN Industrial.

The main topics discussed were  the enabler of precision agriculture: from the dairy farming to the agricultural inspections, from the material handling to the harvesting, robot technology has shown to be of great effect. Drone technology is poised to play a crucial role in the future of agriculture. Moreover, it is expected to see driverless tractors and fruit-picking robots become relatively commonplace on larger farms. The track focused on the real end-user needs, providing case histories and technology trends discussion.
