The local entity Mollerussa Fair was set up in 1985 as the organizer of the Sant Josep Trade Fair agricultural contest which was held in Mollerussa in 1872 and actually catalogued as the Catalan agricultural machinery exhibition and international for tax purposes.
The economical situation and the local dynamism became, these last 20 years, the impulse to increase the fair activities of this city next to Lleida area, with a proliferation of new meetings as Autotrac, Expoclàssic or Autotardor, that improve the different areas of the regional economy.
