Companies and members at the 65th edition of the Sant Miquel Fair

Conference on Technological Innovation in the Agricultural Sector – CTECNO


The technological reality of agriculture 4.0. And the opportunities that digitalisation brings to the sector, met on September 27 in the Conference organized by CTECNO with the collaboration of the Digital Cluster of Catalonia and the FEMAC.

The session, attended by 107 people, was inaugurated by Mrs. Hble. Teresa Jordà, Minister of Agriculture, and was composed of a central talk by Dr. Emilio Gil and two round tables, one focusing on agricultural production and climate change and the other on presenting the present and future of technology in agriculture.

ARGILES awarded with the 3rd Innovation Award of Fira de Sant Miquel


ARGILES Disseny i Fabricació, once again, has been awarded one of the innovation awards granted by the Fira de Sant Miquel in the 23rd Prize for Technological Innovation and Security in the Design of Agricultural Machines and Equipment of the Agro-Food Industry .

The prize was awarded by the hydropostic self-propelled agricultural machine model AF-PP 2020, for loading and transporting pallets (bins), which allows loading up to 15 pallets stacked in three heights (5×3) or 12 pallets (4×3 ), with the possibility of adjusting to different standard dimensions.

Presentation of the LISA and IOE-Crops Project

From the innovation strategy for smart specialization in Catalonia, the RIS3CAT, the FEMAC manages the LISA project and participates in the IOE-Crops, both within the community of Agro-food Technology – COTPA. During the session, the impact technologies, the sectorial challenges and the areas of application of the projects that are part of the Connection! and take advantage! in which the community works.

Incoming Mission AGRO of 9 countries

A total of 32 Catalan companies (15 members of the Cluster) participated in the sessions organized by ACCIO in the reverse mission that brought together 20 distributors from India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Morocco, Panama, Costa Rica, Serbia, South -Africa, Uzbekistan and Chile. During the 26th, eighty organized meetings took place at the Fair with the aim of establishing contacts and seeking business opportunities between Catalan companies and these markets.

Grouped participation of cluster members

BOSCH Connected Agriculture, BATSI and Estel S.L. They participated in the fair at a shared booth managed by the cluster in Hall 4. All three companies offer technology solutions for agriculture, either for end users or for machinery manufacturers. These types of actions allow to strengthen the relationships between the partners and give a joint image of technological offer.

FEMAC Cooperate in the debate of INNO4AGRO

The Cluster Manager shared visions and challenges within the framework of the reflections on innovation that were addressed every day within the framework of the Inno4Agro Project. During his interview, he stated that Inno4Agro should become the meeting point for companies in the agricultural sector, administration, knowledge and society, to promote innovation and make an agro-food referent the territory of Lleida.
