After the success of its first edition, on Monday, September 8, we launched the second edition of Emprèn Agro Cat, the acceleration program promoted by FEMAC and Afrucat, which aims to be a driving force for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Catalan agri-food sector.
Emprèn Agro Cat maintains its high-value format:
100 hours of specialized training.
75 hours of personalized mentoring.
The goal is clear: to support entrepreneurs in the process of turning their ideas into viable and competitive businesses.
This edition brings together 15 innovative projects, covering areas such as digitalization, bioeconomy, sustainability, local gastronomy, and agri-food transformation. Some examples include:

The launch event also featured Agrin’Pulse, the 2024 winning startup, which today stands as a clear example of the impact this program can generate. In just one year, they have grown from 2 to 5 employees, developed a new MVP, and announced a new funding round to scale their technology.
As highlighted by Ferran Iturbe, Vice President of FEMAC and CEO of Teyme Group:
“Agrin’Pulse is an example of what we want to achieve with Emprèn Agro Cat: to boost initiatives with real impact in the territory and international projection.”
With this second edition, Emprèn Agro Cat consolidates itself as a reference platform for entrepreneurial talent in the Catalan agri-food sector. The program contributes to the transformation of the sector, generates quality employment, and delivers value to the territory.
