A tool to expand the focus of the business through the Cluster’s relationship with the main economic, political and social entities, as well as networks of clusters at Catalan, Spanish and international level.

A vehicle for collecting public funds, for the implementation of new projects and new ideas, and to deepen relationships between the main Technology Centers of Catalonia and Spain.

A space for dialogue among the main actors, which integrates the diversity of the Agricultural Production Means sector.

FEMAC joins the Xarxa Emprèn to promote entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector

FEMAC is launching FEMAC Emprèn, a new specialised programme designed to support the creation, validation and launch of entrepreneurial projects linked to the agricultural sector and agricultural production resources.

The initiative follows FEMAC’s incorporation into the Xarxa Emprèn, a network of organisations promoted by the Department of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia that supports entrepreneurs throughout the different stages of creating and growing their business projects.

As a member of the Xarxa Emprèn, FEMAC provides entrepreneurs with a specialised support pathway to help them transform ideas into viable business projects.

Emprèn Agro Bio launches as a new acceleration programme to drive innovation in agrifood and the bioeconomy

This July, the first edition of Emprèn Agro Bio was officially launched at Parc Agrobiotech Lleida. The new acceleration programme, promoted by FEMAC, AFRUCAT, Lleida City Council, the University of Lleida and Eurecat Academy, brings together the former Emprèn Agro Cat and Emprèn BIO 4.0 programmes to strengthen support for innovative entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector, the bioeconomy and agricultural production technologies.

 

The launch event brought together representatives of the five partner organisations, who highlighted the importance of joining forces to deliver a more comprehensive, specialised programme aligned with the sector's current and future challenges.

FEMAC participates in the S3 Community of Practice Annual Conference 2026 to strengthen its European engagement in the agricultural production means sector

On 23 and 24 June, FEMAC participated in the S3 Community of Practice Annual Conference 2026, held in Brussels and organised by the European Commission.

Now in its fifth edition, the conference brought together representatives from European institutions, regional governments, clusters and other innovation ecosystem stakeholders to discuss the future of Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3).

This year's edition focused on the role of S3 strategies in strengthening Europe's competitiveness, fostering a more integrated industrial policy and improving coordination between regions.
