Brussels, 21 April 2026 – FEMAC took part yesterday in Brussels in the Annual Event of the AgriFood Pact for Skills, a European event focused on one of the major challenges of the agri-food sector: how to ensure the skills needed for the future of the sector.

The meeting brought together representatives from the European Commission, European projects, universities, companies and sector organisations to reflect on generational renewal, training, cooperation between stakeholders and the need to bring European strategies down to national and regional levels.

Mollerussa, March 20, 2026 - FEMAC took part in the presentation of the strategic update of the agricultural inputs sector in Catalonia at the Fira de Mollerussa. The event, organized by ACCIÓ with the collaboration of FEMAC, brought together professionals and companies from the sector with the aim of analyzing the evolution of the industry and identifying new growth opportunities in an increasingly competitive and changing environment.

Lleida, 26–28 February 2026 – The FEMAC cluster took part in a new edition of FormaOcupa, the leading training and employment fair in the Lleida region, together with the Federació d’Empresaris Metal·lúrgics de Lleida (FEMEL) i l’Associació Provincial d’Empreses d’Automoció de Lleida.

Over the course of three days, the fair brought together nearly 8,000 visitors from Lleida, Barcelona, Huesca and Tarragona, consolidating its role as a key platform for connecting education with the labour market and the local business ecosystem.

The Smart Droplets EU project has reached its final phase, marking a key milestone with a full-day Final Event in Athens, hosted at the Agricultural University of Athens. The event brought together research organisations, agritech innovators, industry leaders, and sector stakeholders to reflect on project results and, crucially, to focus on what comes next: how agricultural robotics and AI can become trusted, scalable, and commercially viable solutions that deliver real value in day-to-day farming conditions.


From January 26 to 30, 2026, the FEMAC Cluster actively participated in the AI 2026 Mission in China, a strategic initiative led by FEMAC and in collaboration with the packaging cluster, INNOVI, and the Foodservice cluster of Catalonia. An initiative promoted with the support of ACCIÓ that has allowed us to delve deeper into the main vectors of transformation that are redefining the agri-food sector on a global scale.
