The third women’s conference organized by FEMAC —and the second in collaboration with FEMEL— took place this Wednesday, September 10, at the Parc Agrobiotech de Gardeny (Lleida), bringing together professionals from the agricultural and metallurgical sectors to reflect on how artificial intelligence (AI) can transform the productive future.

As a novelty this year, the event was also open to men as spectators, broadening the perspective and fostering a more inclusive debate on the role of technology and people in innovation.

After the success of its first edition, on Monday, September 8, we launched the second edition of Emprèn Agro Cat, the acceleration program promoted by FEMAC and Afrucat, which aims to be a driving force for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Catalan agri-food sector.

The Lleida startup Agrin’Pulse has been awarded first prize in the Agriculture, Livestock and Food category of the prestigious ARME Awards 2025, one of the most outstanding recognitions in Spain in applied robotics. The award, endowed with €10,000, was presented on June 26 in Madrid, at a gala that brought together the country’s most innovative startups and technologists.

On June 12 and 13, 2025, FEMAC celebrated the XII Strategic Immersion in a privileged natural setting: the Hotel Sant Bernat, in the heart of the Montseny Natural Park. A particularly enriching edition, which brought together our members to share reflections, experiences and strategic challenges with the aim of continuing to drive the transformation of the Catalan agro-industrial sector.

The Lleida startup Agrodevices, a FEMAC partner and participant in the first edition of the Emprèn Agro Cat acceleration program (2024), has been selected by AgroBank (CaixaBank) as one of the 15 most cutting-edge startups in Spain in agri-food technology.
