FEMAC takes part in FormaOcupa to connect young talent with the agri-industrial and technology sectors

Lleida, 26–28 February 2026 – The FEMAC cluster took part in a new edition of FormaOcupa, the leading training and employment fair in the Lleida region, together with the Federació d’Empresaris Metal·lúrgics de Lleida (FEMEL) i l’Associació Provincial d’Empreses d’Automoció de Lleida.

Over the course of three days, the fair brought together nearly 8,000 visitors from Lleida, Barcelona, Huesca and Tarragona, consolidating its role as a key platform for connecting education with the labour market and the local business ecosystem.

“Real jobs for talented young people”: showcasing career opportunities with prospects

As part of the fair, we delivered the talk “Real jobs for talented young people”, aimed at highlighting the real potential of the industrial, automotive and agri-industrial sectors.

FEMAC explained what the cluster is and the type of companies it brings together, emphasising the wide range of professional profiles required in the sector: from engineering, electronics and automation to programming, production, assembly, industrial maintenance, logistics, export and technical marketing.

The message was clear: this is a technological, international, sustainable and strategic sector, with a real need for young talent and multiple possible career paths.

At the same time, FEMAC represented its member companies and collected job offers from companies such as Hardi, Virkar Group, Tallers Corbins and Teyme AgriTech, which are looking to recruit new professional profiles.

A bridge between companies and talent

FEMAC’s presence at FormaOcupa is part of its strategy to strengthen the link between companies and talent, and to raise awareness that agricultural machinery, agri-industry and technology applied to the agri-food sector offer real and promising career opportunities.

Companies with current vacancies or upcoming recruitment needs can continue to send us their job offers so that we can promote them and facilitate contact with interested candidates.

Once again, FormaOcupa has been an opportunity to listen to young people, understand their concerns and reaffirm that the future of the sector necessarily depends on attracting and retaining skilled, motivated talent eager to grow.
