Madrid, September 25, 2025 — In an inspiring day full of collaboration opportunities, companies from the FEMAC cluster, together with representatives of the CAMPAG cluster, carried out an exclusive visit to the John Deere Innovation Center in Parla and the Vega Innova hub in San Fernando de Henares, with the aim of learning first-hand about technological initiatives and acceleration programs for the agritech sector.
The John Deere Innovation Center (PIC) is a benchmark space dedicated to research, demonstration, and development of advanced technologies in agricultural machinery, precision farming, and digital solutions. During the visit, participants explored ongoing collaborative projects, toured the demonstration fields, and discovered the coworking and innovation spaces offered by the center.
In the afternoon, the group visited Vega Innova, the new agri-food innovation hub promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. This hub fosters knowledge transfer, digitalization, and entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector, offering a dynamic ecosystem full of opportunities for startups and companies.
Participants also had the opportunity to interact with innovative solutions showcased at the hub’s showroom, learn about success stories such as Agrinpulse —one of the startups accelerated through its programs—, and explore new avenues for collaboration and knowledge exchange between clusters, companies, and sectoral initiatives.
The logistics of the visit were coordinated by both clusters, which provided bus transportation from Atocha and organized train tickets for attendees. The program included a networking breakfast, presentations, guided visits, and a joint lunch, creating spaces for dialogue and a shared vision of the future of innovation in the agricultural sector.
This activity is part of FEMAC and CAMPAG’s commitment to promoting open innovation, technological entrepreneurship, and collaboration among the different players in the agri-industrial ecosystem, with the aim of developing solutions tailored to high-value crops and the demands of 21st-century markets.
